Play Date with Cousin Kady

On Thursday Auntie Lisa and cousin Kady came over so Drew and Kady could have a play date. Drew was actually giving Kady lots of hugs and kisses and showing her exactly how to play with the toys attached to the exersaucer. It became very apparent Kady enjoyed the lessons as she was more than jumping in there.

GrampC thought it was great having both kids at one time!

Next time Drew and Kady have a play date, I'm sure Kady will be running to keep up with Drew!

"Drew's In Trouble"

How can a Grammy get mad at this precious "Drew Bears"! Drew knows he isn't supposed to play on the stairs. The only way he can upstairs is if he is getting a diaper change and an adult is with him. Periodically through the day I hear "Grammy". Upon searching where this little voice is coming from, he'll be halfway up the steps. Upon explaining to him he can't play, he tilts his head and gives such a cute little grin that you can't help but laugh. As typical of all kids, someone else is to blame when you get in scolded, so since the only person home is Grammy, poor Molly (GrampC's dog) gets scolded by Drew "MOLLIE TROUBLE".

Uncle Matt Made Me Do It!

Poor Drew....with the rivalry that goes on between Daddy (Dodgers) and Uncle Matt (Giants) he is very confused. Daddy has taught him "Go Dodgers", so Uncle Matt decided to dress Drew in Giants orange and teach him "Go Giants" with the bat and ball. Unfortunate for Uncle Matt though, the next day Drew was watching TV and they were showing high lights from a baseball game and Drew had to yell out "Go Dodgers".

Drew now takes delight in saying "Giants Matt" whenver he sees Matt's picture. Should we really confuse him now and teach him "Go Twins"?!

Nap Time

The first full day at "Camp Grammy's" was a very good day. Drew spent the morning keeping Grammy entertained with playing blocks, let's throw the leaves into the little pool, running a few errands, and watching the APD try and retrieve a stray pit bull. For a while it appeared Drew wasn't going to take a nap until he requested some juice and climbed into the chair. This is how he slept for 2 hours until Uncle Matt, his girlfriend Rana, and her daughter Adrina showed up with treasurers. Silly Grammy and GrampC, they didn't take pictures of the kids playing.We'll see if we can't download a video from GrampC's phone. The cutest was when Adrina accused Drew of cheating on hide and seek. Silly boy....no concept that when your counting you're not supposed to peek!

Welcome to Camp Grammy

Welcome to Camp Grammy. With the temperatures in the 100's today, we dedided to inflate what was thought to be a swimming pool we purchased at a garage sale. When it appeared to spring a leak, Grammy ran to Target to purchase a pool for Drew. As it turns out, what was thought to be a pool, turned into a "water spout". I wonder who had the most fun! The final determination will come on Friday as to who looks most like a lobster from the sun when we head up to camping. Have a good week Mommy & Daddy!
